By the end of 2024, China power sector cooperation projects with Belt and Road countries had exceeded 200, covering transmission lines, substations, distribution networks and other areas.
Power infrastructure construction demand in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa regions is particularly strong. Chinese power enterprises are actively participating in local grid upgrades, driving growth in exports of power fittings, cable accessories and other products.
Customs data shows that China power fittings product exports grew over 20% year-on-year in 2024, with exports to Belt and Road countries accounting for over 60%. This trend is expected to continue deepening in the coming years.
