Design Key Points and Common Problem Analysis of Fittings for Composite Insulators

เผยแพร่: 2026-08-01

Composite insulators, due to their advantages of light weight, high strength, and excellent pollution flashover resistance, are widely used in new transmission lines. However, the design and installation quality of their配套 end fittings directly affects the overall performance and service life of the insulator.

Design key points: Composite insulator fittings should use high-strength aluminum alloy materials, with surface treatment meeting GB/T 2314 standards. Pin connection parts should ensure flexible rotation performance while having sufficient tensile strength.

Common problems: Common issues in actual operation include corrosion at the fitting-insulator steel pin connection, pin loosening and falling off, and fitting twisting deformation. These issues are often related to improper installation processes or substandard material quality.

Improvement suggestions: It is recommended to adopt hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope sleeves, improve anti-loosening structures for pins, and strengthen factory quality inspections to improve fitting-composite insulator compatibility reliability.
